Ingredients

  • 1 large head of broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 –2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to preference
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Prepare the broccoli

  • Wash and thoroughly dry the broccoli florets. Cut into evenly sized pieces for even cooking.

Season

  • In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until well coated.

Grill

  • Outdoor Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Place broccoli directly on the grates or in a grill basket. Cook for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally until charred and tender.
  • Grill Pan / Oven: Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat or roast in the oven at 220°C (425°F) for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Serve

  • Transfer to a serving dish. Squeeze fresh lemon over the broccoli and serve with extra lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Storage Tip: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a pan or air fryer for best texture.
