Hearty Cabbage

- 1/2 white cabbage 560 g
- 3 carrots
- 1 onion
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 tbsp sun-dried tomato paste
Either grate or finely slice the cabbage and the carrots. Dice the onions. Brown the onions in the olive oil in a large saucepan. Leave the pan on low heat with the lid on for 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes until the paste browns, mixing thoroughly.
Add the cabbage and all of the seasonings. Mix until the seasonings spread evenly throughout the food and close the lid on the pan for 30 minutes.
