Ayran is a Turkish drink, enjoyed especially in the hot Summer months. It’s an incredibly healthy yet tasty drink, and so easy to make that you’ll be wondering where you’ve been all these years not drinking it – seriously.
The Simple Ingredients:

Yoghurt, water, salt and mint is all you need. I also add ice if it’s a hot day and I’m feeling fancy. Absolutely fabulous. So so simple.
The Key Techniques:
1. You'll need a blender.
The yoghurt won’t smooth out without a blender. Even before you add the other ingredients and mix all together, you’ll need to blend the yoghurt on its own for a few seconds so that it smoothens out and becomes softer.
2. Careful with the water.

Less is more with the water in this recipe. Add bit by bit to make sure you don’t have too much. The ayran should have an utterly liquid consistency, pourable like it is above.
