The Perfect Health Drink - Ayran
Ayran is a Turkish drink, enjoyed especially in the hot Summer months. It's an incredibly healthy yet tasty drink, and so easy to make that you'll be wondering where you've been all these years not drinking it - seriously.
Servings: 2 glasses
- 400 g yoghurt
- 75 ml water
- 1 tsp dry mint
- 1/2 tsp salt
Blend the yoghurt on its own for 10-20 seconds, or until it takes a smooth and soft consistency.
Add the water, bit by bit, blending as you do. You may not need all of the water. You want the mix to have a soft liquid consistency at the end.
Add the salt and mint and blend for a few seconds so that they spread throughout the mixture evenly. Enjoy!
