Calling all onion lovers! This is the perfect air fryer shallot recipe! Simple to make and has a flawlessly delicious finish. It works as a brilliant appetizer or starter dish that’ll be sure to leave anybody impressed.
The Simple Ingredients:
I never add oil or butter to this recipe – I don’t think it needs it. Especially because it’s an air fryer dish I try to keep it as healthy as possible but feel free to include any oil or butter to taste if you wish!
Pomegranate sauce and lemon give the shallots a beautifully sweet tangy taste that work really well together. I add in some salt for good measure and we’re good to go!
How to cook the shallots?
Peel the shallots and cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 180°C/356°F.
Once cooked, place in a small bowl and mix in with the pomegranate sauce, lemon juice and salt. Mix thoroughly. Enjoy!

- 16 shallots
- 1 tbsp pomegranate sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 lemon squeezed
