Air Fryer Feta Puff Pastry Parcels

The Simple Ingredients:

The ingredients list for these feta pastry parcels is incredibly short. The seasonings I always opt for are paprike, oregano, thyme, rosemary and black pepper. I never add salt as I find that the salt in the feta is enough, but feel free to add some salt to taste. 

You can also add fresh herbs such as parsley or mint – again, do this to taste and preference. I often use dry herbs that I have to hand in my spice cabinet, so I have used these ingredients for this recipe today.

How to make the feta parcels?

Start by crushing the feta with a fork. I always start with this to make it easier to mix. Add the seasonings and oil to the feta and mix until combined.

Open up the ready rolled puff pastry sheet. Keeping it in its rectangular shape, cut the pastry sheet into twelve equally sized squares. It’s easier to cut the pastry in half first, and then cut the halves into squares of 6 as I think it makes the squares a bit more equal in size. 

Generously spoon the feta mix into the centre of each pastry square. Fold in the corners of the pastry square to form a parcel. Squeeze the corners with your fingers if you prefer so that the feta does not pop out whilst cooking.

Cook in your air fryer at 200°C (392°F) for no longer than 10 minutes, or until the pastry is cooked.

  • 1 ready rolled puff pastry sheet 320 g
  • 120 g feta
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp rosemary
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Add the seasonings and oil to the feta and mix until combined.
  • Keeping it in its rectangular shape, cut the pastry sheet into twelve equally sized squares.
  • Spoon the feta mix into each pastry square. Fold in the corners of the pastry square to form a parcel.
  • Cook in your air fryer at 200°C (392°F) for no longer than 10 minutes, or until the pastry is cooked.
